Harry Potter Book 7

Ooooh the new Harry Potter book has a name... Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Sounds spooky eh?
So looking through The Leaky Cauldron, a fan site,I'm getting more and more excited about it... even though there still isn't a release date! Speculations are that it will be on 07/07/07 which would be awesome since in the summer I have a bunch of uninterupted time to read it! I can't wait to see who dies (apparently a minimum of 2 will die) and I suspect that either Voldemort will die, or both Harry and Voldemort will die in the final battle. A little sad that it will all be over, but all good things must come to an end.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Well yesterday, my family and I played Risk.. my first time ever for that one.. anyways.. I started off really poorly.. and almost got myself defeated.. I just had a couple of interspersed countries... so I limped along, and everyone else kinda ignored me and teamed up on my brother cuz he was doing really well (he plays all the time)... while I slowly built up my army... To make a really really long story short, I cashed in my Risk cards and got these huge armies and reclaimed Australia and finished off my brother and dwindled my dad down to one country with 1 army. haha.. my mom and I were the big winners! yay!! not too shabby for the first time!

After, went to my uncle's house for the Eve, and ate a lot.. and hung out with the family.. not too much to report :P
Got some interesting things for Xmas . I got myself a binary clock (yes I am a geek and damn proud of it!), some shampoo, a sweet dragon calendar, a blow dryer and tons of chocolate! My family came over this afternoon and we ate and ate and ate. My gramma brought some homemade pear wine she was given and it was really good!

Xmas Party with the Gal Pals

Yesterday, I went to Bre's house for a small Xmas party for me and my girlfriends. It was also Jaime's b-day so I brought her present.
I got a sweet-ass picture frame from Bre that she filled with pics of us as well as me and all my friends! It is going to go up on my wall as soon as my dad gets around to it! All my friends seemed to like the little grab bags I put together.. they were alcohol themed, so who wouldn't like them :P ... everyone had such nice presents and it was fun!
We played the game I bought for Jaime's b-day called "Eve's Quest"..... its kinda like trivial pursuit, charades, pictionary all combined, but on a feminist/womans kind of theme. Me and Bre were not very good at it, but Jaime was good.. guess I made a good choice with the game! Went home kinda early cuz we all pooped out.. excuse: I am sick :P All and all tho, it was a good night!
btw: that is Jaime freaking out over the kinder surprises I bought her!

School

Well I am finally done all my finals! wahoo!! So far I have gotten 3 marks back (out of 5) and all are satisfactory, however I would have liked a some higher marks in order to get a scholarship... but I managed to get a 87% in Biochem 220, so Im pretty happy!


Last night at 7:00 I had my computer science final and it actually went really well... of course there were a couple questions I had no clue what the answer was and I know that I will get some wrong (since I already know I made a few mistakes) but I think I will do pretty decently on it and in the class!! yay!

Adding to my Geek status

Well, upon the suggestion of Blair, I have decided to start my own blog!!! I am not entirely sure what I will do with it, but it is bound to be interesting. It will contain my random musings about things that happen to me, things that I find interesting, or just stuff... although just the sound of that kinda makes me bored already...

I honestly don't know how often I will use it cuz more than likely I will forget about it soon. Last year I had a blog on livejournal and I think I made 3 posts and then forgot all about it. So when Blair suggested I get a blog, I figured I would just start using the old one again, but I can't seem to figure out my username/password combination, so I have decided to start anew.

So, I appologize in advance too all my readers if I post stuff that is boring to you or you are bored cuz I don't post for days or weeks or months! That's the risk you take with Sam! haha.. Don't worry, I'm worth it tho ;)
